The casual vibe on a night before a UT game is vibing!!! The food is delicious and the drinks are yummy if you like bourbon. The online waitlist is so puzzling. We were walking to the restaurant and were 5 minutes away and online they stated there was no wait. When we arrived we were told there was a 40 minute wait?!?! We opted to put our name in for a party of 3 and walked around to shop the boutiques. The real time waiting service kept jumping to 20 minutes then 50 minutes then 5 min. We could not understand what was happening. Finally got a table after awkwardly standing in the doorway for an extra 10 minutes. Very strange but worth the wait- imo, settle in and be flexible.

Very nice bar/restaurant. Being from the NY/NJ area it really reminds me of a typical city bar. High ceilings, industrial feel. So we decided to start with the duck fat fries and the fried pickles, both were very good. With such a variety of burgers, all 4 of us tried something different and everyone was happy. The burgers were huge and quite good. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a casual environment and nice meal.

We stopped by while we were traveling through and were so hungry. Stock & Barrel was amazing! The staff was so pleasant and efficient - they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and that it all came out right. We got the White Cheddar Pimento Cheese appetizer which was out of this world amazing! Had an amazing kick to it, and paired so well with the dusted chips. A great size and lots of chips - we would definitely come back for this alone. We also split the Bison Burger (with boursin cheese!!!!) and it was everything. The burger itself tasted amazing, but the toppings were so original and paired well together. Great ambiance, great service, phenomenal food!!

I came to Knoxville with my family to check out the University of Tennessee, and I came to the conclusion that if I attend the college, this will be my go-to restaurant. I am a very picky eater, especially when it comes to burgers, but I found that I absolutely love this place and their food. Before I even talk about the burger, I love the fact that you can choose fries or onion rings as the side to your burger with no additional upcharge. We also had the option of half-and-half. Lots of places will upcharge for onion rings, so I was pleasantly surprised at the fact that the price was the same. The fries were delicious and crispy. I ordered the steakhouse burger after going back and forth between that and a salad. I am so happy I chose the burger. The bun was extremely tasty. I do not know what kind of bread was on it, but it was so delicious. It had a bit of a sour twang to it which mixed so well with the patty juices. I typically do not opt for onions on my burgers, but the fried onion strips were so delicious that I wanted more with every bite. The patty was cooked perfectly to my liking and was very high quality meat. This burger was the best burger I have eaten in a very long time and overtook the number 1 spot held in my mind. The service here was extremely nice. The staff are all very helpful and kind. The waitress we had at our table was very good at her job. She was very attentive and quick with her service. The seating arrangement is probably the worst part about this restaurant. The seats feel really cramped especially with the one side being up against the wall. I wish that there was a little more room for each table to be spread out because I did not like the fact the the people sitting next to us were giving me and my family dirty looks (lol). I think a wider space would prove beneficial for this restaurant. Overall, I will be coming back here every week if I end up in Knoxville. Super delicious!

Stock and Barrel is a fantastic dining experience with exceptional food. The Greek burger was incredibly flavorful, a must-try for any burger enthusiast. Their fries are the most perfect I've ever had--crispy and delicious. The staff is remarkably nice and efficient, ensuring a pleasant and swift dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for top-notch food and excellent service.

Rounding up from a 3.5. Stopped here a free being recommended by a friend as a good place to watch a playoff game. Room at the bar so we sat ourselves and the bartender gave us great service the entire evening. Interior was cozy, not much room for seating so on a busy night be prepared to wait. Rustic vibes and quick service definitely made up for any potential lags in service (we didn't experience but I can see how I'm busy season that might not be the case). Got the Elvis and the classic bacon. Both burgers had great flavor and the fries were awesome!! Elvis burger wasn't my favorite but it was really well made and definitely something to try once. Overall a good spot to grab a beer and a burger.

I am visiting Knoxville and we decided to tried some of the top rated places on yelp. I don't regret about this, I will rate this burger as the best burger I have ever had!!! Every bit was incredibly tasty. I went with my finance and I got the steakhouse burger with fries, this one has mushrooms so if you are a mushroom lover, go for it. and he got the classic one with onion rings. You HAVE to try their onion rings!!!! I love the people working here, our waitress was really nice. He always made sure we were doing ok. He offered us to see the dessert options they had but honestly nothing else after the burgers could fit in our stomach. At the place, you'll find a warm, cozy, good vibing environment. Perfect for a date, for chatting or only to go and enjoy a yummy burger. No joking but I'll come back to Knoxville just to get one of those!!

Stock & Barrel was a real treat for me. Their bourbon selection is expansive, and it pairs so well with their variety of delicious burgers. I tried the Billy, their goat cheese burger, and its sweetness was a perfect match for my neat pour of Blanton's. The place is a bit snug for bigger groups, but it's perfect for a cozy date night or a laid-back lunch with a friend. I'd definitely recommend it and plan on coming back myself. Plus, being on Market Street means there's plenty more to explore afterward, so it's a great starting point for a fantastic night out

Wish we lived closer to Knoxville! I'd been here for lunch while in town for work and wow! I remembered it just the way it tasted the first time! We were in town for the K-2 volleyball tournament and I had spoken so highly about y'all to my wife! I had the Ring of fire burger with 1/2 fires 1/2 onion rings! It didn't disappoint! My wife and daughter both had burgers and moved them!
